Policy 6272 – Instruction for Preschool Students

The Board of Education may endeavor to enter into programs for pre-school children, as is provided
for in the statutes of the State of Missouri, and subject to the rules and regulations of the specific
legislation governing the administration of the program. The School District shall attempt to provide
an organization for continuous progress in education to fit the needs of individuals of the community
within the limitations of District finances.

Within these limitations, the Board may provide school facilities for the purpose of maintaining and
expanding programs and services for pre-school children. Such programs shall be commensurate
with the needs of the community. The Board may provide administrative, ancillary and other
supportive services needed to enhance the quality of the pre-school education program.
