Policy 3165 – Procurement Standards – Federal Contracts

The District will comply with all applicable regulations issued by the Office of the Secretary –
Education related to procurement activities in federal related contracts. These provisions include,
but are not limited to, procurement, disposition of unused supplies, copyrights and debarred or
suspended parties. Prior to purchases exceeding $25,000, the District will review the current
“Excluded Parties List” to ensure that the successful vendor is not debarred or suspended. The
District will maintain a contract administration system which ensures that contractors perform in
accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of their contracts or purchase orders.
