Policy 3460 – Student Attendance Accounting

An accurate accounting of student attendance, transportation and food service records shall be kept by
the School District. The records will be in accordance with state Jaw and appropriate regulations of the
Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Building principals/supervisors will be responsible for maintaining student attendance accounting, and
for submitting monthly reports of such records to the Superintendent, who will in turn be responsible
for preparing reports to be submitted to the appropriate state offices.
