Policy 4220 – Certificated Staff Duties, Schedules and Working Hours

The school year will be set annually by the Board of Education. The start date, end date, and number
of contracted days will be contained in staff contracts. The length of the teaching day will also be set
by the Board.

Certificated staff are required to be on duty during the teaching day. In addition to the teaching day,
certificated staff are required to attend scheduled staff meetings, parent conference days, IEP
meetings, and other meetings as may be determined by the administration and Board of Education.
