Policy 1110 – Religious Expression
The District is committed to provide educational services and to maintain a learning environment,
which does not limit or deny participation in constitutionally protected prayer or other protected
religious expression. Consistent with the provisions of the First Amendment, the District and its
employees, who are engaged in official duties, will not sponsor any religious activity or expression
Conversely, the District and its employees, who are engaged in official duties, will not discourage or
preclude religious expression that is privately initiated, consistent with this policy and regulation.
