Policy 1440 – Research Requests

Requests for research studies involving students and/or staff of the School District must be submitted
to the Superintendent of Schools or the Superintendent’s designee for approval. Any research
utilizing human subjects must be authenticated by the sponsoring university. Written permission
from parents of the students to be involved must also be obtained as well as approval of each
principal whose school is to be involved
